Refinements in Facial and Body Contouring
Authored by a world-renowned expert in liposculpture, this volume is the definitive guide to facial and body contouring. Dr. Toledo describes in detail the innovative techniques he developed or perfected to achieve optimal cosmesis with smaller incisions, local anesthesia, minimal scarring, no stigma, and a short recovery period. Each technique is demonstrated by a typical case. More than 1,000 full-color photographs and drawings complement the text. Dr. Toledo presents his techniques for facial rejuvenation, endoscopic facelift, rhytidectomy, total body liposculpture, and contouring of the arms, breasts, abdomen, and thighs. Special attention is given to the use of superficial liposculpture in both facial and body contouring. Other procedures covered include CO2 laser blepharoplasty, laser resurfacing, and use of the Toledo dissector cannula in body contouring. Full consideration is also given to defining the aesthetic result desired, as well as to preoperative and postoperative photography.
Circumareolar Techniques for Breast Surgery
Synopsis
This volume describes the technical innovations that have largely eliminated the complications of the circumareolar approach. These innovations limit incision to the areolar skin junction, thus avoiding scars as applied to mastopexy in the large and small breast, reduction of the larger breast, and internal breast repair of the augmented breast. Also included are the finer points of technique, suturing, pre-surgical marking and post-surgical dressing.
